BDS Industrial Solutions Inc. is an innovative, vertically integrated Canadian manufacturer headquartered in British Columbia. We specialize in energy-efficient management solutions and provide end-to-end services including design, R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, import/export, distribution, installation, service, and full project integration.

 

  • Founded in 2006, BDS began as a trusted partner in industrial and marine operations, delivering equipment, spare parts, supply-chain expertise, and project implementation services. The company quickly established itself as a recognizable importer/exporter serving North American, European, and Asian markets.

  • In 2009, BDS entered the R&D and manufacturing sectors, launching the NightSky LED® line of high-performance lighting systems and controls, along with custom electronics and hardware solutions.

  • By 2012, BDS had achieved full vertical integration and earned recognition as a premier Canadian manufacturer, systems integrator, and supplier to industrial, commercial, and government clients.

  • In 2013, BDS attained Golden-level membership in the BC Hydro Power Smart Alliance for helping customers across British Columbia save gigawatts of power through energy-efficient products. By year-end, BDS-manufactured solutions were being sold in every Canadian province and several U.S. states.

  • In 2014, the company launched the AdaptorMount™ product line—specialized custom hardware including fittings, hoses, brackets, adaptors, and components designed for marine, heavy industrial, and hazardous-location applications. BDS also became a regular participant in major industry trade shows such as Light Fair, CHES, EFMA, and BuildEX.

  • By the end of 2015, BDS expanded its reach to overseas clients in Asia and Europe, establishing a truly global customer base.

  • In 2021, BDS entered the Internet of Things (IoT) market with advanced lighting controls, custom radio antennas, and a growing portfolio of smart electronics and accessories.

  • In 2022, the JustRight LED™ line was introduced—reliable, budget-friendly general-purpose lighting solutions that deliver exactly what customers need: quality performance without unnecessary cost or complexity.

  • In 2023, BDS launched HazLok LED™, a new line of rugged, certified lighting products specifically engineered for hazardous locations.

  • In 2024, BDS significantly expanded its Canadian operations and opened a new office in the United States to better serve the growing North American market.
