Lid Adaptor for Housing Crouse-Hinds Champ Series

AdaptorMount® Lid Adaptor LDA-CH1 for Crouse-Hinds Champ Series Fixtures is a cover plate that mounts directly onto the existing fixture base. Simple and fast to install, the LDA provides a mounting platform for a wide range of fixtures.

25 blind tapped holes on the surface allow virtually any new fixture to be installed in eight (8) different orientations.

Each Lid Adaptor is supplied with one (1/2″ NPT is standard) cable gland. Two cable glands (up to 1″ NPT or M20 threads) are optional. Contact plant for details. 

LDA Lid Adaptor hooks onto existing bases, leaving both hands free for wiring. The unit is then sealed with a single bolt. Fixtures can be attached on the ground prior to installation.

• Retrofit fixtures can be mounted directly onto the LDA plate.
• Alternatively, LDA can be used to seal the existing base into a junction box. New fixture then can be installed elsewhere nearby.
